As if December wasn’t busy enough, here at Urban Environments we have our annual Legionella Control Association (LCA) audit and yearly British Standards Institute (BSI) ISO9001:2015 inspection this month too. In both cases we were put through our paces by stringent auditors, to make sure that our services and management processes are up to scratch, and we’re delighted to say that we passed with flying colours.
In the case of the LCA, the industry body wants to make sure that we are providing high quality services to our customers and are fully competent and compliant with their service standards. Given the wide range of certified services we offer (from Legionella risk assessments to consultancy and analysis and testing), it’s a very in-depth and lengthy process. We gained BSI 9001:2015 certification a year ago and have found it to be a very valuable accreditation. Achieving (and maintaining) ISO9001:2015 certification is a rigorous process as it examines every aspect of how we run the business, from customer service to staff welfare and training, but has significant benefits for us and our clients alike. Designed to be a powerful business improvement tool, it ensures that we maintain high standards at all times.
